Chiyuki Komuro was born in Hitachi City,Ibaraki Prefecture and majored in architecture and design in college. During her college years,she created human models for patterns using a pair of scissors (Masutaro Shears),which enchanted her,and has since been creating various pieces. In addition to making and presenting her 2D and 3D works,she cuts her original pieces to order,provides her works to various media,and creates line illustrations. She also designs and creates cards and stationery as handmade commodities.
